What does our soap do?

What does our soap do? It cleans! Pure and simple. Each soap is formulated a little bit differently and the ingredients are combined to be better for some things, but all soaps are designed to clean, and can be used on hair, face and body. Below are three examples of different soap varieties and the benefits of their ingredients.

• Charcoal Face Soap contains Activated Charcoal and Tea Tree Oil. This bar is designed to cleanse and detoxify skin by drawing out dirt, oil and other toxins. These ingredients have been widely used to fight acne. 
• Coconut Orange Shampoo is a solid shampoo bar with Red Clay and Jojoba Oil. The Moroccan Red Clay, also called Rhassoul, cleanses hair without stripping it of natural oils, and the Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter naturally nourish hair.
• Eucalyptus Shaving Pucks are sized to fit in a shaving dish and contain Colloidal Oatmeal and Bentonite Clay. The oatmeal is soothing for sensitive skin and the Bentonite Clay gives the soap a silky slip helping you get a smooth shave.

At Crystal Lake Soap Co. each loaf of soap is handmade using the old fashioned method of Cold Process. These bars of soap are all natural using 100% Plant Based Oils which are organic and locally sourced whenever possible. Many varieties are Vegan Friendly. NO artificial colors, perfumes or chemicals are used in the production of these soap bars!
